Thank you Chris Rood and Patti Rood! The City of Youngsville purchased two acres of property today off of St Blaise Avenue from the Roods to construct a detention pond to improve drainage in Chelsi Meadows subdivision. When complete capacity for storm water storage for this neighborhood will more than double.
Determined to improve drainage across Youngsville this is one of many projects currently underway. Thank you to our City Council for sharing drainage as a top priority, and to our city team and consultants for moving the needle further with me everyday.
