Thanks to Vallie Hollier and Lance Fremin the City of Youngsville has closed on the purchase of 4.61 acres on a Bayou Parc Perdu lateral near Sugar Ridge Subdivision. This property will be converted to a stormwater pond to further improve drainage in Youngsville. The new pond will be named after Mrs. Hollier’s granddaughter Lily.
City officials remain steadfast in our obligation and commitment to minimize flood risk and today’s transaction is consistent with that promise.
