Property Purchased for Youngsville Sports Complex Expansion on 10th Anniversary of Voter Approval of Sports Complex

Exciting times! The city just closed on the acquisition of 46.5 acres to expand the Youngsville Sports Complex (east of Detente Rd contiguous to the the original 70 acre site) coincidentally on the 10 year anniversary of the ballot initiative to construct the sports complex and recreational facilities.
Thank you to Young’s Industries for continuing the history of partnership with the citizens of Youngsville. I am also grateful for a supportive City Council that understands the value that parks and recreation bring to our city to enhance our quality of life and also for economic development.
We are committed to protecting the reasons that make Youngsville the great city that it is today. Expansion of parks and rec is a top priority!
